Rose-Vony Duroseau, Esq.
Ms. Duroseau received her Bachelor's Degree, with a major in Psychology and minors in both English and Business Law, from Hofstra University. She later attended Fordham University School of Law where she graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2002.
Ms. Duroseau began her legal career at a nationally recognized New York City law firm devoted primarily to public finance law. At Duroseau, Lamarre & Ortiz, LLC, Ms. Duroseau focuses her practice primarily on transactional matters. Among other disciplines, she counsels clients on residential and commercial real estate law, landlord and tenant law, consumer bankruptcy law and estate planning and administration matters.
Ms. Duroseau is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
Ms. Duroseau is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey as well as before the District Court of New Jersey.
Ms. Duroseau is fluent in both French and Haitian Creole.
Cassandre C. Lamarre, Esq.
Ms. Lamarre graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She later attended Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey where she obtained her Juris Doctorate in 2001.
Ms. Lamarre began her legal career by serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Anthony J. Mellaci, Jr., J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division. During her clerkship Ms. Lamarre gained experience in the areas of criminal and family law. Ms. Lamarre has an extensive background in immigration law with a particular emphasis on deportation matters as well as applications for legal permanent residence (green cards) and citizenship. Ms. Lamarre also assists clients in obtaining immigrant and non-immigrant visas such as tourists, student or work visas. Ms. Lamarre also practices in the areas of residential real estate law and social security income (SSI) law.
Ms. Lamarre is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey as well as before the United States District for the District of New Jersey. Ms. Lamarre is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Association of Black Women Lawyers.
Ms. Lamarre is fluent in Haitian Creole.
Gisel J. Ortiz, Esq.
Ms. Ortiz graduated Magna Cum Laude from Seton Hall University where she majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Business Administration. She later attended Seton Hall Law School where she obtained her Juris Doctorate in 2001.
Ms. Ortiz began her legal career by serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Catherine M. Langlois, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division. During her clerkship Ms. Ortiz gained extensive experience in the areas of criminal and civil law practice. Ms. Ortiz concentrates in the areas of family and matrimonial law. She also litigates municipal court cases throughout the State of New Jersey. As a long time New Jersey resident and practicing New Jersey attorney, Ms. Ortiz is in touch with the legal needs of the community being served by Duroseau, Lamarre & Ortiz, LLC.
Ms. Ortiz is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and the District Court of New Jersey and is a member of the Essex County Bar Association.
Ms. Ortiz is proficient in both oral and written Spanish communications.
